I love this place. Full stop. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating, there's a wide variety of different liquors and cocktails on the menu, so to try them all will require a few trips, and the food is amazing. If you want a meal so good that your eyes roll back into your head, this is the place. If you want some classic cocktails with a mild twist, this is the place. If you want good wait staff who are attentive and willing to help(even with some strange requests), this is the place. I will definitely be coming back soon

I judge an Irish pub by the quality of their Guinness. A proper Guinness comes in glass, more specifically a glass made for the Guinness with a harp on the back and the word “Guinness” printed across the front. The reason for this is 2 fold: 1) The glass allows for the bartender to pour the proper amount of head, which 2) allows the consumer to take a proper first sip in which at the completion of the first sip and after the glass is placed on a level surface the delineation between the liquid stout and overlying foamy nitrogen goodness fall exactly at the middle horizontal line of the “E” thus demonstrating ones ability to properly drink and appreciate the finest of Irish brewing craftsmanship. If done properly, on all accounts, one should be left with a thin vail of foam across the upper lip proudly on display for other patrons at the bar to notice. This was exactly my experience at the Black Sheep. At the competitive pricing of $6.36 a pour, I will be back again, and again, and again. Sláinte.

Had a wonderful lunch at the black sheep today. Beautiful day to sit at the oak rail outside and enjoy a cold beer/tasty food. The barmaid was very attentive/friendly and the service was top notch.
